What we don’t accept as a backup
A drive that’s always plugged in or a synced folder is not a backup: if ransomware encrypts the computer, it encrypts that too. We tell you in writing what is backed up and what isn’t.

Where are the backups stored?+
Encrypted and away from your office. Exactly where goes in the quote, and if you need them in Switzerland, we’ll quote on that basis.
Isn’t OneDrive or Google Drive enough?+
Not quite: they sync changes, including deletions and files encrypted by ransomware. They help, but they’re not an independent backup.
How long does recovery take?+
A file, minutes. A whole computer from the cloud depends on the volume and your connection; we give you real times when we set it up.
How do you handle VAT?+
Our prices exclude VAT. THRAX is a Spanish company, and the VAT treatment of each job, Swiss or Spanish, is stated in the quote before you accept it.
